Mind daily practice
By the end of this lesson you will have a five-minute daily practice that turns each working day into a decided day: one decision chosen before your first call, your hours counted before you forget them, and one change a week that makes the next week lighter. Decided days keep your best hours for the work only you can do, which is what a higher dollar-per-hour is built on.
- Why your energy sets the quality of every call, price and hire, and what to do on a low day
- A short morning check-in, so each day starts with the one decision that matters and the one action worth your best hour
- A shorter evening close, so your hours are counted while fresh and tomorrow has a first block
- One weekly upgrade, so whatever drained you this week is handled before it drains you again
Why it matters. Every call, price and hire in your business runs on you. Your body is the hardware and your mind is the software, and both deserve care on purpose. Hours logged the same day are easier to get right than hours recalled weeks later, and the value of your hour is only as accurate as that count.
What this is not. Not medical advice: it diagnoses and treats nothing. It makes no claim that better sleep or higher energy will change your revenue or profit. No streaks to lose, no red marks: a missed day is a blank, and a deferred decision is recorded as deferred.
What you need. Your account. A ring or watch is optional: connect one and the tool reads today's score live, beside your own rating from 1 to 5, which is always the one that counts.
Do this.
- Choose a morning check-in time, before your first call or task.
- Rate your energy today from 1 to 5. The tool shows it as a Full, Standard or Light day.
- Read yesterday's calls held, sales and cash collected, from the daily tracker where you enter them. The same tracker measures a Million Dollar Calculator plan.
- Write the one decision to make today, or the one constraint to work on.
- Name the one action with the highest value per hour of your time, and the hours you plan to work.
- In the evening, mark the decision made, not made, or deferred to a date. Enter the hours you worked, and roughly how many went to your top action.
- Add one line on what drained or blocked you, if anything, and name tomorrow's first block of work.
- From day 5 of each week, read your planned and actual hours and any decision deferred more than once. Pick one change for next week, body or mind, and save it.
On a Light day, take on less, move a big or hard to undo choice to a stronger day, or rest. Your call.
Done when. Within 7 days of creating their account, the person has saved at least 3 morning check-ins, 3 evening closes and 1 weekly upgrade to that account.
Max's example
The same deliverable on his own business
Max's plan: one of his days, with the figures he intends to see.
Tuesday morning. Max's ring shows a score of 82, read live. He rates his energy 4, so the tool shows a Full day. Yesterday's numbers: 2 calls held, 0 sales, $5,000 collected. Decision: set the date the first Million Dollar Year seats open. Top action, carried from last night: record the Million Dollar Year sales video. Planned hours: 10.
Tuesday evening. Decision made: seats open on the first Monday of period 2. Actual hours: 12, about 4 on the top action. Drained by: two client calls that were not in the calendar. Tomorrow's first block: 8 to 10, write lesson 1.4.
Weekly upgrade, day 5. Planned 50 hours, actual 60. One decision deferred twice: whether to raise the price given on sales calls. Days: 2 Full, 2 Standard, 1 Light. Max's upgrade, marked body: in bed by 11 on the two nights before call days.
